The Davenport Room

The master bedroom of Sutherland’s Crest, The Davenport Room features a canopy bedroom set originally purchased from The Historic Davenport Hotel in Downtown Spokane, Washington. The Davenport room is decorated in sumptuous spring green and gold, a nod to the classic Victorian era of the home, and the walls are adorned with original oil paintings purchased directly in Paris, France.

The custom king size memory foam bed ensures a sound night’s sleep, no matter how restless your partner, and is made up with Egyptian cotton sheets and an electric blanket for those cold winter nights.

Each room is equipped with extra pillows, white noise machine, fan, Keurig coffee maker, bottled water, a selection of k-cups and tea bags, and a full-size walk-in closet to make your stay more enjoyable.

The Red Room

The front bedroom of Sutherland’s Crest overlooks the historic City of Wallace with a one-of-a-kind 115-year-old view through original double-hung leaded glass windows. Decorated in the Victorian Gothic tradition with a four-poster queen bed, electric fireplace, and grand bookshelf that was formerly owned by Academy-Award-winning actress Patty Duke, who was once married to a Wallace native, Michael Pearce.

Each room is equipped with extra pillows, white noise machine, fan, Keurig coffee maker, bottled water, a selection of k-cups and tea bags, and a full-size walk-in closet to make your stay more enjoyable.

The Red Room is the perfect place for a writer’s retreat with an antique desk and chair tucked away under the eaves, purchased at the famous Wallace Labor Day Flea Market! See more weekend activities here.
